Haga Sweater 2-Color

This is a knitting pattern (PDF) only.

Brief overview / tips:

The sweater is worked from the bottom up with two strands held together throughout.

As you knit, you will change which color is used as the main color and which is used as the contrast color. At one stage, the sweater is worked with one strand of each color held together.

Chart B is worked using knit and purl stitches.

The yoke is shaped with raglan decreases.

If you would like a slightly larger sweater, you can use needles 0.5 mm larger.

S/M (L/XL) 2XL

Finished garment measurements:

Bust circumference, approx.: 88 (114) 143 cm

Total length, approx.: 62 (66) 68 cm

Sleeve length, approx.: 48 (50) 50 cm

The model is wearing size S/M and usually wears a size S.

Yarn requirements:

The sweater is knitted using KidSilk Erle from Dale Garn, held double.

Black: 150 (200) 250 g

Multi: 150 (200) 250 g

Suggested needles:

6 mm circular needles, 40 cm and 80 cm

4 mm circular needles, 40 cm and 80 cm, and double-pointed needles

If you use the magic loop technique, you only need 80 cm (and possibly 100 cm) circular needles in sizes 4 mm and 6 mm.

Gauge:

17 stitches x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm
