Jolene Sweater
This is a knitting pattern (PDF) only.
Brief overview / tips:
The sweater is knitted top-down in stockinette stitch with raglan increases. The sleeves are finished with colorwork and an i-cord bind-off. On the body, the work is divided for a slit halfway through the colorwork, after which the rest is knitted back and forth and finished with an i-cord bind-off.
Finally, the fringes are attached using a crochet hook.
You can use leftover yarn for the colorwork and combine several strands if you have thinner mohair you would like to use.
You can find a helpful video showing how to attach the fringes on my Instagram account, @martejacobsenstudio, under the highlight “Jolene Sweater”.

Yarn requirements:
The sweater is knitted using Fluff from HipKnitShop, 100 m/50 g.
It can also be knitted using, among others, Tjukk Mohair from Rauma Garn, Mohrino from Viking Garn, Fluffy Mohair from Strikkefeber, or Pickles Big Fuzz from Pickles.
Main color: 300 (350) 450 (450) g
Colorwork, total approx.: 45 (65) 85 (85) g
Colorwork, body, approx.: 13 (16) 26 (26) g per color.
Colorwork, sleeves, approx.: 8 g per color.
If you are using only two colors and buying new yarn, you will need 1 skein of each color in all sizes.
Suggested needles:
Sizes 1 and 3: 7 mm circular needle, 40 cm, for the neckline, and 5 mm circular needles, 40 and 80 cm, for the rest of the sweater.

All sizes:
Double-pointed needles in the appropriate size, or use the magic loop technique.
Consider whether you need to go up a needle size when working the colorwork.
You will also need a medium-sized crochet hook for attaching the fringes.
Gauge:
Sizes 1 and 3: 15 stitches x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm
