Brief overview / tips:

This is a straight-cut dress with the same width all the way up to the armholes. The dress is knitted using two strands held together: the ribbing is knitted with two strands of Alpaca Fine, while the main body is knitted with one strand of each yarn quality held together.

The dress is started with an Italian cast-on and knitted bottom-up, first working the front and back separately and then joining them to knit in the round. The ribbing along the slit is knitted before continuing in the round up to the armholes.

The work is then divided into front and back pieces, and the rest is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch. The shoulders are joined and bound off using a three-needle bind-off. Finally, ribbing is knitted around the neckline and armholes.
