This is a knitting pattern (PDF) only.

Brief overview / tips:

The top is knitted bottom-up using one strand of yarn. You begin with an i-cord cast-on edge. The body is knitted in the round up to the armhole. From there, the rest of the work is knitted back and forth while decreasing, first on both sides and then on one side only.

The sleeve is also started with an i-cord cast-on edge. It is initially knitted in the round and then back and forth. The sleeve is finished by knitting a pleat and binding off. The sleeve is sewn onto the body at the end.

Suggested needles:

3 mm circular needle, 60/80 cm, for the i-cord cast-on edges.

3.5 mm circular needle, 60/80 cm + 40 cm for the sleeve, or use the magic loop technique or double-pointed needles.

You will need 2 auxiliary needles for knitting the pleat on the sleeve (double-pointed needles, cable needles, etc.).

Sizes 1 and 2 require a 60 cm circular needle for the body.

For the other sizes, you can use either a 60 or 80 cm circular needle.
